…it was great! Don’t get me wrong, I do speak to my users and get feedback, but today was much better. I made an appointment scheduling tool for small businesses. I used to be more technical and solution driven, but letting them speak and form what they think the solution is is really interesting. Overall: - a few of my “common sense” assumptions are true. These assumptions mainly spans problems that are obvious, or that anyone would have (they need their bookings organized, they want to reduce no shows etc) - she has problems she couldn’t describe. I had to break it down - there are many pain points that are not obvious at all. No way to know until you engage a user
Just sharing a great experience. Talk to your users, or rather let them talk to you 90% of the time, and speak for the remaining 10%.
